Speech pathologists are professionals who are trained to assess, diagnose and treat people who have difficulties with communication and/or swallowing and feeding.
Occupational therapy is a client-centred health profession concerned with promoting health and well being through occupation. Paediatric occupational therapists help children develop skills in the areas of self-care, school and play. Paediatric occupational therapists indirectly work on developing confidence, self esteem, social skills and general well being.
